In pursuit of excellence, NHTV strives for student satisfaction and the protection of an outstanding reputation in society for delivering high quality programmes and graduates. NHTV wants to distinguish itself through the quality of its study programmes. Such distinctions will rely on successes during accreditation procedures - the ability of securing distinctive quality and / or special feature recognition, and prestigious distinctions from international quality marks.

Challenge

Challenge is the motto for the years ahead. Both students and employees are challenged to present their achievements to industry and the academic world - a challenge that will require a maximum effort.
Students are encouraged to distinguish themselves and to realise their full potential; this also holds true for students with a disability, who are offered special study facilities. NHTV offers opportunities for developing professional and academic skills, creativity and entrepreneurship.
Employees are expected to distinguish themselves through their expertise of a specific knowledge domain and are required to show a sustained effort in the continuation of their professional development. NHTV believes that the most favourable environment in which this can be realised is one that is relatively small in scale; an open and informal atmosphere encourages intensive interaction between lecturers, students and non-teaching staff.
