Internationalisation

Internationalisation, in the form of multi-cultural diversity, is part of the ‘NHTV way of life’. NHTV educates its students for careers with international perspectives. On account of their intrinsic natures and distinctive characteristics, all disciplines are positioned within a strong international context. The development of knowledge is not constrained by national boundaries.

Most of NHTV’s study programmes are taught in English. The institute recruits internationally experienced faculty and more than 12% of the total student population are foreigners. International business and international cooperation are key elements in the curriculum, both from a social and cultural perspective and from an economic point of view.

NHTV prepares students for management-level positions in an international setting. International accreditations from, for instance the UN World Tourism Organisation and the International Facility Management Organisation, underline the quality of education.

Partnerships

NHTV works together with leading education institutions all over the world.  As a result, there are many opportunities for intensive student and lecturer exchanges. Due in part to the joint research programmes, student conferences, summer courses and international placements, the international character of the programmes is strengthened.
