Am I an alumnus / alumna?

The Latin words 'alumni' and 'alumnus' are used all over the world for graduates from schools, colleges and universities. Once you have obtained your NHTV bachelor's or master's degree, you are an alumnus/alumna of NHTV.

Why does NHTV have an alumni policy

The graduates of NHTV International Higher Education Breda who are currently operating in the professional field, are an important target group for the institute. With their knowledge, experience and contacts, they are able to like no other to make a useful contribution to the knowledge development of both lecturers and students. Furthermore, they can reinforce the position of students entering the professional field.

How can I change my personal details?

To change your personal details in the alumni database, you first have to log in to the database by means of your email address and attendant password. In the selection screen of the database you then click on the “Change personal details” icon.

How can I change my password?

To change your password for the alumni database, you first have to log in to the database by means of your email address and attendant current password. In the selection screen of the database you then click on the “Change password” option.

How do I register in the alumni database?

Via the log-in page of the database you can fill in the registration form. The registration form has a number of required fields, without these fields your profile would be unfindable in the database. After having sent us your registration form, your profile will be activated within a couple of working days, about which you will receive an email. After activation of your profile, you have access to the database.

Can I register in the database if I don’t have an email address?

Unfortunately it is not possible to register in the alumni database if you don’t have an email address.

I have lost track of a former classmate, can NHTV help me find him/her?

The first way to get in touch with former fellow-students is to register in the alumni database. This database gives you access to the records of some 5,500 fellow-alumni. If the classmate you are looking for is not registered in the alumni database, then we can send the person in question a message (to his/her last-known address), on your request, to ask him/her to contact you. It is then up to the person in question to contact you or not. We never give address information of our alumni to third parties directly.

I forgot my password

On the log-in page of the alumni database ‘Who is Where’ it is possible to ask for your password via an ‘automatic reply’. Your password will then be sent to you promptly, to your email address as recorded in the database.

It is impossible for NHTV to read your self-chosen password.

I forgot which email address I used to register

Without the email address with which you are registered in the database, you cannot log in to the database or request a forgotten password.

Send an email to alumni(at)nhtv.nl, and we will check for you with which email address you are registered in the alumni database.

If this email address is no longer in use, we can also change it for you into a current email address.

I am unable to log in to the alumni database

There may be several reasons:

1. You are registered with another email address than the one you are trying to log in with now -> send an email to alumni(at)nhtv.nl, and we will check it out for you.

2. Your password is incorrect. Request your password via the 'automatic reply' option on the log-in page of the alumni database.

3. You have not yet registered in the alumni database -> Fill in the registration form, and your profile will be activated as soon as possible.

4. None of the above is applicable: send an email explaining your log-in problem to alumni(at)nhtv.nl.

Is it possible for former NHTV employees and lecturers to register in the database?

Yes, former employees and former lecturers can also register in the alumni database.

Why should I register in the alumni database?

When you register in the database, you will have access to a network of some 5500 NHTV / NWIT / VAT alumni for either business or social purposes.

Who have access to the alumni database

All alumni who registered have access to the alumni database. In addition, all lecturers and employees of NHTV have access to the database.

Current students do NOT have access to the alumni database.
