Distinctive feature 'quality of lecturers'

The national visitation committee of the NVAO has assessed the quality of the lecturers as excellent. The department succeeded very well in attracting inspiring and dedicated lecturers from the international industry. An efficient monitoring system and educational policy have been set up to ensure that the quality of teaching is preserved. Students experience their lecturers as inspiring and profound experts in their fields.

Distinctive feature 'focus on applied research'

A second distinctive feature of the study programme involves its focus on applied research. It is absolutely essential to keep pace with the rapid changes in the field, more distinctly even, the department wants to make a contribution to advancements in the field. The committee considers the intensity and quality of the applied research projects as an example to the entire higher education sector in the Netherlands, and therefore awards this distinctive feature to the study programme.
