Characteristics
This programme is basicly an economic education, directed at the leisure sector. Education is not only focused on knowledge, but also on developing attitudes and skills (competencies). Besides attending lectures, training sessions and workshops you will work on real assignments from the field in an international classroom. Creative concept development is leading in your study, you learn how to create memorable experiences which contribute to a more beautiful world. This programme is highly varied and focuses on the different aspects of facility management. Professionalism and courtesy, interpersonal skills and technological expertise are important qualities you need to obtain. The programme covers three groups of clients; the internal client, the visitor/guest and the supplier. According to your individual interests you can pursue a career in organisations as diverse as hospitals, airports, hotels and all sorts of international companies. You will become a self-confident key figure behind the scenes.
Specialisations
Sports Management, Leisure Project Management, Event Management, Management in Creative Industries There are no prescribed specialisations. You will write a Personal Development Plan in which you present your personal competency development plan for the graduation year.
Placement / graduation
In-service placement (20 to 30 weeks) and graduate placement or individual graduation project In 1st year four-week operational placement in a facility organisation, in second year six-month placement with an international company abroad
Fast tracks
pre-university education (vwo or Hochschulereifezeugnis) or a propaedeutic year at another higher education institution or university 3-year track possible with vocational education in a related field (mbo level 4), pre-University education (vwo) or previously acquired competenties
Degree after graduation
