Via one of the Housing Corporations

If you did not obtain a room via the International Office of NHTV, you can register yourself at Click for rooms. You need to do this before the 1st of August! The housing corporations in Breda let a large number of student rooms and single-person flats for students.

WonenBreburg and Singelveste Alleewonen

NHTV has an agreement with WonenBreburg and Singelveste Alleenwonen (part of Click for Rooms) and that is to offer student housing to the (new) international students. Every year there is a large number of rooms available, approximately 200. These rooms will be offered to you on a First Come, First Serve basis.

How does it work?

If you have applied for one of NHTV’s study programmes in Studielink and via NHTV’s International Office, and you have been (provisionally) admitted, you are in our system. When we receive the offers from the housing corporations, we send a general email to all the students. Then you need to be quick if you wish to obtain one of these rooms. Often within a few days all the rooms are taken so check your emails very regularly and make sure there is enough space in your inbox. We will make this offer in July, depending when it is known which rooms are for rent. Part of those rooms will be furnished and a part will be not furnished but this will be communicated to you in that email. Note that these rooms are the best you can get so we strongly advise to react as soon as possible. Note that if you were so lucky to obtain a room, once you’ve agreed to rent one of the rooms, you cannot cancel it. The contracts will be made for (at least) one year and cannot be cancelled during the year.
