The International Office of NHTV will apply for your visa as soon as you have been admitted to one of the NHTV’s course programmes. This short procedure through NHTV will take ± 6 to 8 weeks.

Residence permit

The following students need to apply for a residence permit upon arrival:

• Non-EU students who enter the Netherlands with an MVV. An MVV is an entrance visa for The Netherlands. (see Visa Information for more information about the MVV application procedure)
• Non-EU students who enter the Netherlands without an MVV;
• EU nationals from Bulgaria and Romania who stay longer than 1 semester.
