BRESS (BREdase Studenten Sportstichting: Students’ Sports Foundation Breda)
offers students - and staff - of NHTV Breda and Avans Hogeschool the opportunity to practise a variety of sports for an entire year. Get to know new people while improving your physical condition. Forget about your studies and all the worries that go with it for a while!
 
The sports program consists of weekly sessions. Besides this BRESS organises courses varying from 4 to 10 weeks and competitions. You can also reserve a hall, track or field if you want to sport on your own time. As of August 1st 2008 BRESS has her own Sports Centre. Most sessions will take place over here. It also has a nice bar where you can sit with your friends and have a drink.
 
As a student from the NHTV you can buy a sports card for €100. With the sports pass you can participate in over 45 different kinds of sports. You can sport as many and as often as you want. You can buy your sports card at the BRESS sports centre. You have to take a photo with you and you can pay with your bank card with pin or cash. After two working days you can pick up your sports pass.
