NHTV Academy of Hotel Management
NHTV Breda University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands has been offering tourism courses for over 35 years and keeps on developing and specialising her courses. NHTV is constantly gearing its curriculum to recent trends and developments in the world. Since we are a university of applied sciences that focuses exclusively on the tourism, recreation and hospitality business, we educate students for all possible positions in the tourism industry.
International Hotel Management School
One of the courses NHTV Breda offers is the International Hotel Management School Breda. This course prepares students for managerial positions in:
- Business Hotels;
- Holiday resorts/Leisure Hotels;
- Conference centres;
- Event organisations.
Central aspects of this programme aimed at the hospitality industry, are Business, People Management, Experience, ICT, Imagineering, Skills and Attitude. The principle of competence-based learning underlies the multidisciplinary thematic approach of the course programme.
The course programme is fully conducted in English. Practical training in the domains of Food and Beverage takes place in our Kitchen, Restaurant and Banqueting. Operational competences are also trained these areas which we call “The Company” of the hotel management school. This model company enables students to be in charge of organising every aspect of business meeting, from beginning to end.
