If you have young children, then it’s good to know that NHTV transfers a percentage of the average pay to the Inland Revenue to enable childcare to be financed. The compensation for the costs of childcare has to be applied for at the Belastingdienst (information is in Dutch).

NHTV also has a good removal costs arrangement.

Within NHTV a fund for the members of staff also exists which finances tokens of attention for members of staff in special circumstances, for which the contribution is € 2.27 per month. Participating in this is voluntary.
