Elisabeth Minnemann new president of the Executive Board of NHTV

With effect from 1 April 2018 Elisabeth Minnemann is the new president of the Executive Board of NHTV Breda University of Applied Sciences.

Ms Minnemann will engage in implementing NHTV's long-term positioning together with the current Executive Board member, Nico van Os. In view of the ambitions that were formulated recently her knowledge and experience will come in handy here. Key aspects will be facilitating promising connections between the academies within  NHTV, continuing to develop a challenging and international study climate on the new campus and further strengthening our connections with national and international industrial partners.

In the last two years, Elisabeth Minnemann has worked as head of the Municipal Department of International Affairs in The Hague and has been involved, among other things, in international profiling and positioning of the city of The Hague.

From 2009 to 2015 she was the president of Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences at, successively, the Instituut voor Managementopleiding and the Instituut voor Bedrijfskunde. She was engaged in educational innovation, development of knowledge centres and the internationalisation policy of this university of applied sciences.

Elisabeth Minnemann, who was born in Germany, studied Psychology at Bonn University. After she graduated, she worked as a lecturer and researcher at Heidelberg University for some years, where she obtained her doctoral degree in 1993. Subsequently, Ms Minnemann worked in various companies in the Netherlands and Malaysia for some years.

Elisabeth Minnemann will succeed Hein van Oorschot, who has been president of the Executive Board of  NHTV Breda University of Applied Sciences since 2012 and is saying farewell as per 1 April 2018 because he will reach retirement age.
