Payment via a bank account within SEPA area

If you have a bank account within SEPA area1, you, your parents, or someone else can authorise NHTV to debit the tuition fees to your bank account. You can do so all at once or in twelve monthly instalments.

After you have communicated your payment details, NHTV will determine the amount of your tuition fee. Next, Studielink will send you an e-mail asking you to confirm the digital authorisation.

  1. You are paying yourself
Your ‘To Do List’ in Studielink has an action to be carried out. Go to Studielink again and follow all steps required to confirm the digital authorisation to NHTV.
  2. Someone else is paying
Forward the verification message from Studielink to the person who is paying your tuition fees. This person can then confirm the digital authorisation by means of his/her DigiD.

1 SEPA covers the whole of the EU. It also applies to payments in euros in other European countries: Iceland, Norway, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Monaco and San Marino.

Please note:

  • It is important to fill in your payment details correctly! Once the digital authorisation has been confirmed, it will no longer be possible to apply changes to your payment details. So, if you want to apply any changes, you need to do so before you confirm your digital authorisation. You can do so via “My Studies” in Studielink.
  • You can only confirm the digital authorisation once. You cannot change it afterwards.
  • If you choose to pay in twelve instalments, you will pay an extra once-only collection fee of €24,-. The instalments will be collected around the 25th of each month (from September up to and including August). Make sure that the balance in your account is sufficient. If this is not the case, the bank will reverse the transaction, which means that the tuition fee is not paid. Read the Regulations regarding Overdue Payments carefully. Don’t transfer any instalments to our bank account, unless NHTV has explicitly asked you to do so.
