IMEM Alumni win 2 Golds at Dutch TV Industry award

We are very proud that our International Media and Entertainment alumni Saskia van Driel (Producer of Zondag met Lubach) won the Gouden Televizier Ring 2017. Stephanie Maessen (Producer Tuvalu Media) and Cynthia van der Linden (Tuvalu Media) also won the Gouden Stuiver award with 'Brugklas'.

Congratulations also to alumni Lisa Vol with the sneak preview performance of their new OG3NE single at the same awards.

The Dutch Game Awards 2017 were dominated by NHTV as our students took home all 3 student awards.

NHTV students to display their best games on Showcase Day once again!

The students of the International Game Architecture and Design (IGAD) study programme at NHTV Breda University of Applied Sciences are known for their stand-out performances across the game industry. They will be displaying their projects on Showcase Day once more. The showcase will take place in the afternoon of the 6th July 2017 at NHTV, Mgr. Hopmansstraat in Breda, Netherlands.

Logistics programme headed for Oman

The Academy for Urban Development, Logistics and Mobility has made agreements with the Middle East College from Muskat (Oman) about rolling out a logistics bachelor’s programme there.

Lecture exchange by Lillebaelt University

Last May 2017, Ellen Houmøller (lecturer from Erhvervsakademiet Lillebælt in Odense, Denmark) visited NHTV’s Media program for an Erasmus+ lecture exchange. Her aim was to get inspired by the way of teaching at our Media (IMEM) program.

NHTV Breda and ADabisc start cooperation

NHTV Breda and ADabisc have signed up for a couple of projects in which cooperation will take shape in the years to come. ADabisc is a Qatari company which is currently developing and opening four family entertainment centres (FEC) around the shopping mall and leisure park Doha Festival City.

Master TDM approved as government-funded master’s programme

The Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Sciences has decided to allow NHTV to deliver the English-taught Master in Tourism Destination Management as a full-time government-funded master’s degree programme.

NHTV Delegation in Brazil

Taking advantage of the fact that the field trip of the Master Imagineering was taking place in Brazil, a delegation of NHTV, consisting of lecturers from three academies (Tourism, Leisure and Didital Entertainment) and a representative from International Relations, visited several institutions and companies to reinforce NHTV presence in the Latin-American giant.
