The International Leisure & Events Management programme is about YOU, however, you don't have to do it all on your own. Coaching is an important component of the programme. You will have a coach to support you as you develop. You will be encouraged to ask yourself questions, for instance, ‘What are my talents and competencies? What am I looking for in my placement? What should my future job be?’. It is important to know what you want, what you are capable of and to be able to reflect upon your own performance. Besides this, if you become a manager one day, you might need to coach your own team.
The student counsellor provides information, advice and guidance relating to educational and occupational choices, study conditions and student grants. This is also the person to turn to if you wish to discuss personal problems that may be affecting your life as a student.
