International Event Management

Content

The International Event Management track will give you a deeper insight into the event industry. You will learn to design creative and innovative concepts for events, and develop these into new business and revenue models, from a commercial perspective. Of course, you will also have to be able to produce the events yourself.

Additionally, International Event Management focuses on personal development, or in other words, on you as a future events professional. For this purpose, we and our students organise networking days and business ‘speed dates’ and students will complete assignments within the events industry. You will examine what sets you apart from other students and you will relate this to your ambitions within the events industry.

Your future career

Graduates of the International Event Management track take up a range of positions in event organisations, from the concept stage to the execution of events. The event manager identifies opportunities for unique events in the market and knows how to bring interested parties together. The business designer specialises in the business operations of events and the event marketer’s skills are second to none when it comes to marketing and selling events. Whichever role you aspire to attain, you will always be performing it in a dynamic and inspiring world. Examples of companies where graduates find jobs: Festivents, Obsession, Daily Bread, Extrema Outdoor/Solar, Mannen van Rijnland, Opel, ID&T, Paaspop, Zwarte Cross and Pinkpop.
