On this page you will find a list of websites offering course material, instruction videos, online learning skills, etc. on a wide range of subjects. Some with open access content, some provided that you are logged in on the NHTV network. Further down you will find a list of Library guides (Libguides) on several subjects; general and specific. The use of some of the websites will require you to create an account.

    An education platform that partners with top universities and organizations worldwide.
  • EdX
    Find the latest MOOC from the world's best universities including MIT, Harvard, Berkeley, UT and others.
  • Future Learn
    Free online courses (with certificates) from universities from all over the world.
  • Home Academy
    Dutch website. Lectures (audio) about many subjects. You need to create an account. Please follow the instructions first.
  • Innoguide
    An e-learning platform for tourist guides and training centres focusing on 3 modules: Sustainable tourist guiding, Intercultural and European tourist guiding and Experiential tourist guiding for EQF 4 or 5. For access, first create a free account.
  • Internet Archive
    Digital library offering free universal access to books, movies & music, as well as billions of archived web pages.
  • Khan Academy 
    Free online courses; Science, Economics & Finance, Arts & Humanities, Computing.
  • Lynda
    Lynda is an online video database. It is available to all NHTV students and staff and offers access to almost 4000 online videos on all kinds of topics. The videos in this database can be used for group instructions or for personal self study purposes. And they can be a great addition to any form of E-learning within NHTV. For access (only for NHTV staff & students) use this manual.

  • Ted Talks
    Nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks (18 minutes or less).

    TEDx is an international community that organizes TED-style events anywhere and everywhere, celebrating locally-driven ideas and elevating them to a global stage.
